Found it at a library sale. My daughter (age 15) read it and liked it so much she said she wanted to keep it and read it again, but I had already relayed it off to Marlene-TC in The Netherlands.

Thank you so much for offering this book on the relay and sending it to me here in the Netherlands.
I am sure this book will be highly appreciated not only by me, but also by my (nearly 14 year old daughter)
Also thanks for the postcard. just found it! Miami Bayside, would love to go there.
Well I have a huge mountain of TBR , especially since last weekend I went to my first Dutch Bookcrossers meeting.
Left with 18 books, but came home with 11 :-)
I will let you guys know what our thoughts are on this book when one of us starts reading it.

Hi Gnissy How are you?
Because I still have a lot of TBR books which I received before I got this book I have asked in the Dutch forum if people were interested in participating in a ring on this book.
(I prefer people enjoying it instead of the book collecting dust on my shelf :-) )
Here the 6 participants.
Klaartje
Suzy26
Jehanne Book there now
Silvertje
MaaikeB
Croixdequerre
So I have to get some stamps and will pass it to Klaartje.
everybody enjoy this book.

I liked it a lot. Good writing, believable characters, wry truths and some good laughs, too.
Of some of the chapters I don't really understand what they had to do with the rest. But all in all, I liked the book.
I'll send it off to Suzy26 soon, and hope she enjoys it too.

Found this book in my mailbox today. Thanks to Klaartje for sending it to me and thanks to Marlene-TC for ringing it. Still have 30 pages to read in my current book and then I will start on this one. I am looking forward to it!
I really enjoyed reading this novel. It is about Jane Rosenal who is trying to figure out how to find love and keep it. There are two chapters (The best possible light and You could be anyone) that do not seem to fit in with the rest. In themselves, both these chapters are beautiful stories, though.
Melissa Bank has a funny style of writing. One example:
p.8: While Mother hostessed and Girlfriend guested, Younger Sister stood up. While there was a pause in their nicing, I made my mouth move smileward: "I'd love to stay and talk, but I have to go shoot some heroin now".
And sometimes she makes you laugh out loud:
p.151: I said: "Your hair is dyed?". "Colored", she said. "Never say dye".
I will now pass this book on to Jehanne.

nice, another ringbook. Can't have too much to read, right? Thanks for sharing Marlene! And suzy26, thank you for sending. I'll tell you my experiences with this book, once I've finished it, so far: lovely....
I really loved this book! Finished it in just a few hours, couldn't put it down.
Thanks for sharing. I'll send it to Silvertje in a day or so.

Thank you all for sharing! I received this book today. I hope to finish it before I go on a holiday this friday, but I can't promise anything :)
I enjoyed this book. When I started reading it, I couldn´t put it away and finished it within a short time. I was planning on mailing it from here (Spain) to the next person, but I think 9 euros is a bit too much!! So I will send it next week when I will be back in Holland again.
I mailed this book today to MaaikeB (it's a rhyme!)
Got the book in the mail today in a very nice Spanish envelope. I'll keep that one to use it again. I'll have to finish Oryx and Crake first, but then I'll start reading this one. Looking forward to it.
Stopped halfway to send the book back to marlena who wanted to read it with her reading-group. I liked it, but I didn't mind sending it away, so I guess that's not too good a sign. But after reading these enthusiastic reports I get the feeling that I should finish it sometime.

Sorry for this maaike and croixdeguerre
I have 3 days left to read this book for my bookclub ,that is not that hard.
Maybe it is better if i send it to croixdeguerre first so maaike does not have to pay postage twice.
But I am trying to dispose my bookcrossing books when read, all at once, so maybe I can send a bookbox when I have read a lot of my TBR books and add this one?
well we find a solution.
I was in the proces of reading a great true crime book but that one has to be on hold.
thanks for sending this back to me.

Well I have finished reading and I did not like this book at all.
i think this is overly hyped.
The beginning started OK but after a while I caught myself thinking when is the good part coming?
Well it never came. I did not like the writing style, most of it is written in dialogue, it is boring , and I did not care for the main character and it is actually a waste of my time.
I am happy I am the only one who did not like it, so I am going to send this along and let other people read.

Got this book at the bookcrossing meeting in Tilburg.
Was supposed to go to MaaikeB, but she already read half of it and did not intend to finish.
Croixtheguerre was next on the list, but she was not there, so I was allowed to read it first. Will send it to Croixtheguerre after done reading.

Very nice book!
For a chicklit I think it was even a bit (don't overrate...) more intelligent and interesting than a lot of other.
Very funny at times too.
Nice that the writer uses different styles. I finished (like many of you) in no time.
Will check with Croixdeguerre if she is interested in reading this one next.
