I've passed this onto an elderly relative in a care home.
8 June 17 - So I read my first DCI Banks book last year and enjoyed it, although all I could was picture Stephen Tompkinson as Banks. This one was ok but certainly not as good as the one I read previously. I wasn't sure about the spy twist, gave it too much of a film feel for my liking. There also seemed to be a lot of the coppers having a pint or a wine then driving, hmmmm I won't even chance one, so didn't feel this set the best example.
