Thanks for bringing this to our MeetUp for me Cassandra2020 it was very kind of you, especially since it’s such a weighty hard-back tome! I was planning passing it onto two brothers who enjoy reading military history however a combination of its weight and the fact it appears to be a fictionalised account rather than a non-fiction book has moved me to switch plans for it from a postal release to a wild release in Edinburgh. I’ve given it both a ‘caught’ and a ‘wild release’ Journal Entry in one fell swoop as I plan finding somewhere to release it later today.

Using that vague catch-all again “Wild Released somewhere in Edinburgh”! Admittedly a mighty handy designation when passing a book onto a non-BookCrossing chum as its most definitely not a controlled release to another bookcrosser who would be guaranteed to make a Journal Entry!

Picked this up last month from the Red Kite Café where I had left it January and it had lingered… and lingered, taking up a whole lot of shelf space as it is a sizable tome. Time to shift it again I thought as I’m now on a mission to declutter so it had to get on its walking boots and stride out.

On route to the Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel this evening I captured a chum’s interest in it potentially for her father so it detoured. If he takes a liking for it, it may end up in a permanent personal collection in Edinburgh for a while, who knows? HAPPY TRAILS BOOK!
