Max is on a mission to save Alex, who is stranded on the home planet. Alex may be lost or wounded--or worse. To get Alex back, Max knows he'll need one of the Stones of Midnight. If only he knew where to find one.

Liz understands that Max can't rest until he finds Alex. And she's been busy herself--spending time with Roswell newcomer Adam. She's been having so much fun with Adam that Max is in danger...of being forgotten.

9 out of 10

I have to ask it - how did they get the Jeep back? Besides that glaring error, more plot twists in this one - gosh, I never expect them. I'm just flying through these books - I can't seem to stop reading them.

I found it intriguing to compare this trip to Carlsbad Caverns with the one taken in the TV-based book.

i wondered about the Jeep as well. And I did see the similarities with "Little Green Men" (which I did like better with the added detail). The plot twists are definitely intriguing. Who would have thought that all THOSE people would be involved. But, AHHHH, I still have to watch those episodes on DVD. John Doe as Mr. Parker! You know you are really geezing when you lust after the PARENTS in shows :)! I'm reading the 8th episode now (with six or seven other books!). This one is up for grabs.
