Isabel has run away from home, and Max knows her life is in danger. He has to find her and save her, but time is ticking away.

Alex is back on Earth, and he's a changed man. He looks better, feels better, and is ready to live life ot the fullest--without Isabel Evans. Little does he know he's the only person that can help the ailing Isabel. Will Alex be able to put aside his pride and save the life of his former love?

I hate it when this happens. A really great plot twist - one I didn't see coming - and one I really really wish hadn't happened. I'm too caught up in these books. I'm not mentioning the plot twist in case it would be a spoiler for anyone. I had to grab the next book to make sure it was really true. I had so hoped that it wasn't. But it was. I cried.

I agree, I agree! No spoiler here, but this was an intense chapter in this version of the story. This one is headed for caligula03 who will read the whole series and keep them moving.
