I got this fair-condition ex-library hardcover from Better World Books. It's a handsome alphabet book themed on vanishing species, with stylized animal shapes used for each letter, from the Chinese Alligator to Grevy's Zebra. Each page includes brief notes on the creature's type, habitat, range, and endangered status, and an appendix includes capsule descriptions of each creature. The graphics are intriguing - and sometimes creepy, as with the letter 'E" and its St. Helena Earwig: the 'E' is shown with the classic earwig pincers!

It's International BookCrossing Day, and in honor of that - and of this year's BookCrossing Convention in Athens, I plan to leave this book near the Old Woman's Shoe at around 2 or so. Hope the finder enjoys the book!
