Taking to the 'Buy Nothing' stall at the TGIF Markets on Friday evening, to hopefully swap with some locals! (and maybe recruit some new Bookcrossers!)
Apparently I have failed to journal any BC book I have read this year... An enjoyable book in the John Irving style (quirky characters, unconventional family, internal dilemma, a bit of mystery). This focuses on Billy's early life in a small town and boarding school ( where he lives with his teacher parents). Nice to see sympathetic portrayal of a bisexual character, along with exploration of themes of transexuality too. It felt a bit of a shame/lopsided that Billy's adult life was comparatively missing...
