a red stickered clearance.

This book has pulled its thinking cap on tight before striding out into the Tag Game! :)
This is actually the 2nd copy of this book that I've picked up for BC members! Must be good stuff! ;)

Thank you for this wishlist-tag, HI77! I look forward to reading it.
A somewhat complicated but well-thought-out story, despite a few implausible scenes. As a frequent yard-sale shopper, I enjoyed the four very different characters in the Bargain Hunters Network and the friendship forged through the common goal of finding the perfect deal. This mystery centers around the death of Mary Margret, one of the four, who buys something at a sale that was not meant to be sold, and the seller wants it back. Kept me guessing until the end.
One of my favorite parts was when Ginger has overwhelming anxiety when attempting (at the urging of her husband) to buy a dress at full price. It was amusing and I could absolutely identify. I honestly can't remember the last time I paid full price for any item of clothing (or pretty much anything else, either!)
There were a few other funny moments. Sharon Dunn is a talented writer with a good sense of humor! I was interested to learn that most of her output is Romantic Suspense - not my cup of tea!
The Christian element (which, in fact, I didn't know about when I added this book to my wishlist) was not particularly intrusive. So I'll probably look for the second (and apparently last) book in this series.
