I found this fair-condition softcover at the Lucky Dog thrift shop in Nashua, and thought it looked intriguing - an alternate reality Egypt.
Turns out it wasn't quite what I'd expected, kind of a pulp-adventure take but one that seemed more of a James Bond story than anything to do with Egypt. Oh, there were local touches here and there, but overall I didn't find the stories compelling enough to hold my interest. Perhaps someone else will enjoy it.
