A Street Cat Named Bob: How One Man and His Cat Found Hope on the Streets
3 journalers for this copy...
When James Bowen found an injured, ginger street car curled up in the hallway of his sheltered accommodation he had no idea just how much his life was about to change. James was living hand to mouth on the streets of London and the last thing he needed was a pet. Yet James couldn't resist helping the strikingly intelligent tom car, whom he quickly christened Bob. Son the two were inseparable and their diverse, comic and occasionally dangerous adventures would transform both their lives, slowly healing the scars of each other's troubled past. A Street Cat Named Bob is a moving and uplifting story that will touch the heart of anyone who reads it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Local BookCrossers meet, from noon on the second Saturday of every month, at Coffee Link, on Neptune Quay. Why not come along and join us? We're easy to spot - we're the people sitting round a table covered in books!
This was recommended to me a while ago, so I think its about time! Thanks for sharing Izzy
btw the CN bookshelves are looking very healthy, my small contribution included :)
(09/11/16) As the blurb says, an uplifting tale - no pun intended! James Bowen is not the greatest writer, but then he doesn't need to be, the story tells itself. And the miracle Big Issue cat continues to draw the crowds with a new feature film...and I guess another book or two? Bob on tour, Bob does Hollywood??

Belated release notes, I sent this to my little brother in the US of A as a thanksgiving/early christmas present last year. I hope he enjoys it :)
I found this book at a book fair at the Denver Public Library in downtown Denver, CO and took it home with me to Englewood, CO. The water damage is from me, I'm so sorry about that. I enjoyed this book and will be bringing it with me to Austin, TX this week to find it a new home :)
