Drowning Ruth is a suspenseful and complex psychological thriller that explores the consequences of suppressing a tragic event from the past. A good read.

Brought this book over to France and have realised I didn't ever journal it. I've actusally re-read it now which is not something I often do!

I very much enjoyed it, a very dark and compelling story which keeps you turning the pages right to the end.

This is not a book I particularly enjoyed. The plot is somewhat predictable and I didn't find the characters either likeable or interesting. With the exception of Ruth, maybe. It was an easy read, one I would recommend to certain people but not to everyone at large.
