bought last night in our local supermarket - one of their cheap deals. I wanted a nice, 'don't have to think too hard' weekend read, and I've read most of Bolton's books (she also writes as S J Bolton).

This didn't disappoint - a brilliantly written thriller set in the remote Falkland Islands, and capturing the challenges of life in an isolated community where everyone knows everyone else's business. The story is told over a few days and from the perspective of three key characters - lots of twists and turns and probably the best book I've read this year. Really interesting insights into the Falkland Islands as well.

My partner wants to have a look at this one so will hang on to it for just now and release once she's read it.

Back to the UK as part of the colour sweepstakes just as soon as I finish reading it - I am half way though this gripping thriller.
