I am releasing this book in memory of Becky (BC screen name N-R-Jyzer), ResQgeek's daughter, who was killed on 30 August 2010 when she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle. She would have celebrated her 15th birthday on Valentine's Day this year (2016). During each of the last five years, this Release Challenge has been held in order to remembered her and celebrated her short life by releasing books in her memory. Read this book and pretend to take a walk along the beach. Look closely at the tidal pools, shells and sand beneath your feet. You'll meet some amazing animals that make their homes on the seashore....including the Elephant Seal, Redshank, and Puffin on the cover! : )

Placed on a bench along the shoreline of Red Mountain Lake at Red Mountain Park amidst a badelynge of ducks filled to the brim with bread crumbs shared by children along the water's edge, who followed my every step (too funny!) thinking I might have dessert for them! : D

It told me all about the animals that are in the sand, water, and birds.

My girls enjoyed the book and this is the first book crossing we have ever run into!! This should be fun!!

Put this in a geo cache while at a mega event in Yuma...hope it ends up with someone who will enjoy taking it on another adventure!!

We found this book in a geocache in February. We are Canadians so thought we would take it home to move it along on its journey. It will appear in a geocache in either British Columbia or Alberta soon.
