I found this fair-condition paperback on the Tyngsboro MA post office book swap shelf, and nabbed it for an upcoming release challenge. It's the 7th book in a series that began with Into the Storm, and is about the crew of a WWII destroyer that was somehow sent to an alternate world where the foes include aliens as well as other human-crewed ships.
After glancing through the considerable introductory material (what a huge cast of characters!) and dipping into the book a bit, I decided to give it a pass. If a future finder writes a glowing review I may reconsider and give it another try someday!
