I found this good-condition hardcover at the local library's ongoing book sale, and nabbed it for a release challenge. It contains bird-themed illustrations and sayings about love, nest-building, and families.

I made a birthday dinner for my dad the other night and he handed me this book. He said my grandmother found it inhabiting a tree at a local park in her hometown of Greenfield, MA and knew just who to pass it on to! I had never heard of bookcrossing.com until I read the book and logged on to the site. I love this idea! Funny, I'm a young married mother of two wonderful little birds and this book was a perfect smile maker. It is honest and true. I love the illustrations. There certainly is no recipe for this beautiful, overwhelming, one of a kind experience called parenthood. I just hope each day that I'm doing a good job for my children, making their one of a kind experience called childhood, something they'll smile on when they look back. I'm not sure where I'll drop the book off just yet. We think it would be fun to keep it heading south. On to the next...
