Years later, in a town hall in Paris, a Registrar receives an unsettling book in the post. "The Registrar's Manual for Detecting Forced Marriages" only fuels her suspicions surrounding a Kurdish wedding. Unsure how to intervene, she embarks on an investigation that brings her uncomfortably close to an old friend: Selim.

I am still looking forward to reading this book! Life has been so difficult in so many ways but now I am rearranging my bookshelves and trying to read more than I have managed to do in the past couple of years.

In order to keep my bookshelves as tidy as possible, I am changing my TBRs to PCs for the time being. I will change them back again when I manage to read them.

I found the story interesting but, being French, I had a bit of a doubt regarding the part in the Town Hall (mairie) in Paris.
