My Double Life: Sexty Yeers of Farquharson Around with Don Harn
3 journalers for this copy...
I loved this book - Don Harron led an amazing life - he was full of bluster and life....I even got a chance to introduce him once at a conference in the 1980s - our publishing company did his Jogfree of Canada book.....he gave me his 'speech' afterwards - it might be in the basement.
Amazing that Hee Haw lasted 15 years, Harron had 4 wives....oddly I came across a book with an introduction by Don Harron called From Testicles to Timbuktu written by family MD Dr. Geordie Fallis.....and then I was at a bonspiel where a guy impersonated Charlie Farquarson, and then I ordered the 1976 spoof KORN Almanac he published......so December/January was a special focus on the man......oh ya, he spoke at my high school about 1968.......

Released 7 yrs ago (9/25/2016 UTC) at Word on the Street, Harbourfront in Toronto, Ontario Canada
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Dear finder of this book: You have found a free "travelling" book, registered on Bookcrossing.com. This book was actually purchased at Word on the Street 2015, and now that I have read it (plus two others), it is time to pass it on. So....back to Bookcrossing. What is it? Bookcrossing is like geo-caching for books. It is free and anonymous, and "aims to make the whole world a library". Please take a moment to make a journal entry (see label inside the cover) so we know it's been found, and then when you are done with it, pass it along and help its journey continue. PS: Bookcrossers have been releasing books at the Word on the Street festival in Toronto for about 10 years. Enjoy!
The book was caught at WOTS but hasn't yet been read.
