I am releasing this book in memory of Becky (BC screen name N-R-Jyzer), ResQgeek's daughter, who was killed on 30 August 2010 when she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle. She would have celebrated her 15th birthday on Valentine's Day this year (2016). During each of the last five years, this Release Challenge has been held in order to remembered her and celebrated her short life by releasing books in her memory. In this little old neighborhood of mine...not too far down the street, there are still a couple of homes with a pasture area that comes clear up to the sidewalk. Each is home to a horse or two...another of Becky's loves. To this day, the neighborhood children still go to feed them carrots by the fence where I left this book. ; )
