Journal Entry 2 by iwillrejoice at A BookCrosser, A Bookcrossing member -- Controlled Releases on Wednesday, August 24, 2016
The book arrived today. Thank you for sharing this with me. I have read a few of Reich's books - Fatherland, Numbered Account, The First Billion, and currently I am reading The Devil's Banker. This looks like another good book by Reich.
Picked it up to begin later tonight.
The time period is post WWII in Germany. There's lots of action. Reich develops well the 2 main characters and you get to look through the eyes of both rather than just one. Erich Seyes is know as the White Lion in pre war Germany. He escapes the POW camp and Delvin Judge vows to catch him. The bad guy is shown to have incredible survival skills. There is some interesting history that is woven in the story.
