This is written in diary format by a 13 year old Anastasia Romanov, and gives a fictionalised account of historical facts starting just before the 1st World War up until the Bolshevik revolution. The diary ends just before their deaths with their final ending being told by means of an Epilogue. It's a very well written, easily readable account of royal life during a very turbulent time.
