My aunt was weeding out some books and I took a couple that I thought would make good traveling books! This is actually a book I had given to her that I had won through my old library, and it has a little sticker about the library in it that I've left intact as part of its history.

Apparently I picked this one up last winter at our Birdie's meetup. I plan to release it this summer during my travels.
Journal Entry 8 by authorauthor at Little Free Library #18428 (KES) in Seneca, South Carolina USA on Monday, July 3, 2017
Released 6 yrs ago (7/3/2017 UTC) at Little Free Library #18428 (KES) in Seneca, South Carolina USA
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This is one of the books my Jane Austen Action Figure and I released during our travels this month. We left it inside Little Free Library #18428, which is in the field beside the playground for Keowee Elementary School, at 7051 Keowee School Road in Seneca.
Action Figure Jane and I leave Jane Austen books in the LFLs we visit. But this one is at an elementary school and had very few children's books available, so we left some kidlit too, including this excellent mystery by Joan Lowery Nixon.
Jane Austen loves Little Free Libraries, and we hope to visit as many as we can, leaving at least one book in each. Do you know about Little Free Libraries? If you have books to donate, bring them by and place them inside. When you're finished reading a Little Free Library book, you can choose either to keep it, to return it to this or any other LFL, or to give it away. No strings. No limits. No fees. No memberships. Just BOOKS!
Look for Action Figure Jane's traveling book adventures in episodes of "What Would Jane Read?" published periodically in my blog at http://petrini1.livejournal.com/
Read about my Little Free Library on its own Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/LittleFreeLibraryOfAlexandriaAndHancock

Help spread the joy of reading, through Little Free Libraries and Bookcrossing, partners in bringing books to people! (Along with Action Figure Jane Austen, of course.)
