I'm still only just reading this book and it is destined to travel and be enjoyed by more readers. If you've not read A Street Cat Named Bob then I do have that offered as a ray as well. http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/11487656
The incredible sequel to the bestselling A STREET CAT NAMED BOB - the moving and uplifting true story of an unlikely friendship between a man on the streets and the ginger cat who adopts him, soon to be a major motion picture.
'Since Bob has appeared, I've made huge strides in my life. For more than a decade I was a homeless drug addict. I was lost to the world and had forgotten what was important in life. Now I've got myself back on my two feet, but as I put the past behind me, I'm still stepping unsteadily into the future. I still need help in the right direction. Bob is always there to offer guidance and friendship.'
James and his street cat Bob have been on a remarkable journey together. In the years since their story ended in the bestselling A STREET CAT NAMED BOB James, with Bob's help, has begun to find his way back to the real world.
Almost every day, Bob provides moments of intelligence, bravery and humour, at the same time opening his human friend's eyes to important truths about friendship, loyalty, trust - and the meaning of happiness.
In the continuing tale of their life together James shows the many ways in which Bob has been his protector and guardian angel through times of illness, hardship, even life-threatening danger.
As they high five together for their crowds of admirers, James knows that the tricks he's taught Bob are nothing compared to the lessons he's learnt from his street-wise cat.

Off to Australia! :)
Bob is with me, thanks, Pookledo.
So nice to have read the continuing story of Bob & James. It's heartwarming to think that the love of a cat has been life-changing, & life-saving, for James. We pet-owners know the value they add to our lives, but it's always nice to hear/read about others.
When I read A Street Cat Named Bob I still had my own ginger-boy, Leo, with me. Leo has since passed on, but I see & hear him in my dreams occasionally. I include a photo of him.
Thanks for including me, appletreen. I await marulaPL's address.

Was in my mailbox today. Next in my TBR pile. Thanks for sharing
Finished reading it and it went as fast as the first. It was very nice to further read the adventures of James & Bob and to understand how Bob changed James life. Pet-owners completely understand every single description and their attitude and their way of letting us know that they know what they are doing and that they have their opinions on almost anything! Thank you so much for sharing, it made laugh and cry1!
I am waiting for Brookler address.

Just received this. Looking forward to it, thanks.
I greatly enjoyed this second book about James and Bob, and love how he has been able to turn his life around, in part because of these books. A heart-warming and inspiring, if at times harrowing, story.
My daughter loved the first book, so I'm letting her read this one before we send it on.

I really enjoyed reading with book, it was great to read about how the first book came to be written and released. Sent on to next person.
Received in today's mail. This is behind a couple of other promised books and rings but I'll get to it as soon as I can. Thanks for including me!
A fun, quick read. I think James Bowen has a good heart and he and Bob make a great pair. I'll be interested to see how their story continues - hope to hear more from them.
Will send out to minesayn soon. I thought I had an address but can't find it...

Received in the mail today...thanks glade1 for sending me the book, and thanks to appletreen for making this available as a ray. Looking forward to reading the next chapter (book) about Bob, the Street Cat. I thoroughly enjoyed the first and am sure I will enjoy this one as well.
Finished up the book about two weeks or so ago. Here's the review I posted on Goodreads:
What can I say? I am a cat lover, but even if I weren't, it would be hard to dislike Bob. He's smart; he's instinctive; he's loyal; he's all that and more...and he provides James with more love and affection than almost any human the man has known. As the author says, "Bob's my soulmate."
This memoir continues the story begun in A Street Cat Named Bob. Yes, like its predecessor, it is as much about James as it is Bob, but Bob is always the focus. James continues his life on the streets busking, selling "The Big Issue," and now trying to stay clean of the drugs that once ruled his life.
Love the drawings that accompany each chapter as well.

Thank you for sending me this book minesayn. I've already started to read it.
I loved reading more about James and his cat Bob. I liked the addition of illustrations in this book. I also liked that James got closer to both his parents after writing this book.
