Journal Entry 1 by winghyphen8wing from Honolulu, Hawaii USA on Tuesday, February 16, 2016
Hardcover with dust jacket: Dr. John Craven was involved in a number of research projects affecting the Cold War submarine conflict between the US and the USSR, including the Polaris missile project.

Dr. Craven had many interests, including music, and he loved the ocean. He was always interesting to talk to and had a lot to say. I haven't read his book yet, but I have two copies, so this one is available to travel.

After his death in February 2015, his family set up a scholarship in his honor.
