5 journalers for this copy...
First book I've registered with BC! :D
Cute, fluffy BL stories. Not particularly memorable, but there were lots of megane boys, so that was nice. <3

A whisper of memory
in the curve of a line,
and gentle smiles to follow.

The die has been cast! And now a new set of books has pulled on their hiking boots and trudged off to a new camp! ;)
A book trade, a set of dreams, as it were.
This was one of the ones that I traded with someone else to get the copies to trade with another person, to get ones I really wanted...
if that makes any sense. :P
XD
I know I have my own copy of this somewhere. Or, at least, I did at one time. I couldn't remember the story at all. So I kicked back and read it again.
Eh. It's cute and all. There's not a whole lot of substance to it though. The cover was lovely and the drawing is well done. There is a backbone to the storyline but it is a weak one.
It just wasn't one of those that makes a deep impression. You could read it, and a month later have no real recollection of what it was about. Or, in my case, the next day... XD

The box-o-trade-books arrived safely today; many thanks! It might not be all that deep, but the cover's very pretty - and I do love me some glasses-guys, too {wry grin}.
Later: I rather enjoyed these tales, from the ones that barely get beyond an exchange of meaningful glances to the ones that get hot and heavy. There are some very cute scenes of dating and awkward do-you-like-me and getting-to-know-you, and the artwork was enjoyable (if sometimes a little sketchy).
There were some darker bits; "I Can't Remember Now" featured one guy who chronically got drunk before hitting on the man he loves, and there were some good scenes between them regarding this whole denial business - plus some cute reactions from the patrons of their favorite bar, who've been observing their "relationship" for some time. And "That Which Falls From Heaven" features a boy still grieving his dead brother, while his new friend tries to figure out what's really going on with him. The conclusion to that one actually made me tear up a little; very sweet! (There's a sequel story to that one that's also rather nice.)
The author's notes at the end include some background on the origins of each story, a nice touch.

I'm adding this to spacedog's Manga/graphic novel bookbox, which will be on its way soon. Hope someone enjoys it!

There are lots of yaoi inside the box so I end up picking quite a few. This one looks cute.
Cute guys, but don't quite make up for the storyline, or rather the lack of. Short stories can still tell a great story (get a copy of Mitsuru Adachi's Short Program!) but in these stories there aren't enough material. It's mostly like the guys talk, and then the next scene they are on top of each other...
