Got it from Gooner via post
Arrived this morning and is at #6 in Mt TBR (behind four mini-books).
Started reading last night and am totally hooked!
This book certainly deserves its Booker Prize.
It is the story of five men whose lives are entwined right up until the end. It is a story of war, love, debt, gambling and everything else in between.
A fast read, the pages turned easily until the end .. when I didn't want to turn any more and see the final one.

Will post to spike1972 next time I'm out.
Book landed safely in Cardiff this morning. Thanks for posting laura0141, and for the *lovely* cat card too ;o)
And thanks of course to Gooner for letting us all share this book. I'm looking forward to it, but it has to join Mt TBR ;os

I've not had chance to read this yet, and I've still got a few TBR's before it, so I'm posting it today, to Dizzy Dormouse, and I'll see it again, later in the ring ;o)
Received today. Cheers Spike!
Unfortunately, this book has vanished without trace, despite several PMs enquiring about its whereabouts ...
