I've finally read this book, and although it's not my favourite book, it was a fairly good read.
I do definitively understand why Alfred Jones think that introdusing salmon in the Yemen is a crazy idea not really worth attempting. But can crazy ideas work? Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Airplanes were probably considered totally crazy when the idea and invention came. And other things have failed completely. Belief is the word.
