This is the tale of an unlikely friendship between two women. One has been very recently widowed as is trying to deal with her grief. The other appears to be very strong and sorted, but is she really? I enjoyed this novel, in spite of one of the characters being quite unlikeable at times. It made it more realistic to me.

An interesting and quick read, about different ways of life and dealing with things. I didn't warm to the main character of Sandra - but perhaps that was the point.
