This is now a bookcrossing book ☺ I found this World Book Night copy in a charity shop, Forest Hall, Newcastle today. The original giver in April 2013 was Michelle Nichol aho collected it from Tynemouth Library. I read this book soe time ago and am copying the synopsis another bookercrosser put on after I had passed it to her:

#1 in the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Mystery series: Wayward daughters. Missing Husbands. Philandering partners. Curious con men. If you've got a problem, and no one else can help you, then pay a visit to Precious Ramotswe, Botswana's only - and finest - female private detective. Her methods may not be conventional, and her manner not exactly Miss Marple, but she's got warmth, wit and canny intuition on her side, not to mention Mr J.L.B. Maketoni, the charming proprietor of Tlokweng Road Speedy Motors. And Precious is going to need them all as she sets out on the trail of a missing child, a case that tumbles our heroine into a hotbed of strange situations and more than a little danger . . .

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Welcome to Bookcrossing!

You have found a travelling book. Why not join in the fun? Read, release and pass on but don't forget to write a Journal Entry telling us where you found the book, if you read it what you thought about it and where you are going to leave it. If you join bookcrossing before you do the entry you will get an alert when the next person writes up about it and can track its travels. If you prefer to just leave an Anonymous Journal Entry, it will brighten up my day either way. Oh and if you like the book sooooo much you just don't want to let it go that is fine too, maybe one day eh ☺

Enjoy!!

This was found in a community cafe in Miners Welfare Park in Nuneaton. It's in great condition and a lovely read - not the chick flick I'd previously imagined it to be.
