"Nothing links person to person like the frequent passage from hand to hand of a good book."
I have read reviews of this book from people who think it was the greatest story and others who hated it. Pretty strange to have such a wide range of views. I have not read it, but may get myself a copy eventually. I have gotten into reading steamy stories this year ;) But this copy is going to a friend.
A wandering book -- the karma of literature!

Thanks for the kind words & fun box of goodies...as usual I'm super behind on journaling 😁 Looking forward to this read as I also have heard both good & bad!

"A book is a mysterious object, I said, and once it floats out into the world, anything can happen. All kinds of mischief can be caused, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. For better or worse, it's completely out of your control."

your lovely little box made it here. This is going to go on my TBR pile before it gets released.
This was quite a bit steamier than I had expected from a young adult author writing her first adult fiction book. I think I fall into the "eh it was ok" camp. I loved the setting, I loved Joss, and the plot pulled me in for a quick day of reading on my commute and in the dr's office. But something was a little flat with the book that keeps me from putting it in the "This is an amazing contemporary romance" pile. I;m not exactly sure what that is though.
I'm glad to have read it, but it's popcorn reading. Enjoyable but not very lasting.
