Am curious why the original journaller didn't read this one. Have read most of the Lee Child Reacher series (apart from this one) so picked it up and started reading today.

Update: finished this last night.

What i liked: Great back story and plot. Really liked the 'real' reason for the disappearance and how this story had more than one level.

What I didn't like: The red herrings and pages of wandering around, the love interest between Michelle and Reacher (although it was funny that even Reacher seems to tire of these affairs - maybe this is stereotyping). There should have really been a subplot for a book of this length, there were too many scenes of coffee shops and driving around, which got really boring.
