Nick Conover, the son of a factory worker, is the CEO of a major corporation in a company town. I've enjoyed this author in the past but this wasn't working for me at all - don't honestly know why! As I was spending more time wondering whether to continue with it than actually reading it, I took the hint & abandoned it around chapter 8.

As the author's name means it fits the CHRISTMAS IN JULY Challenge I'll move it on shortly. Hope the next reader has better luck with it than I did.....
