Thank you so much Santa, hope you had a good Christmas and a happy new year to you :-)
The cushion you sent is a great addition to our window seat :-)
30 Aug 17 - Hubby was telling me in the car recently that he had been listening to the radio and they were saying that more and more writers are using their initials instead of their first names, therefore not influencing potential buyers by them knowing if it a male or female that's written the book. Apparently they said women in particular are put off by male authors. Now I didn't hear the radio show in question, but this surprised me, I wouldn't be put off either way and if anything read more books by male authors. Anyway enough of my rambling, how was this book with an author using initials?
It started off well, had me interested from the start. Then the journal starts, and although a great idea, I did find it quite repetitive, and also had me wondering, how on earth does she have time to read all this, do what she's does on that day and then have time to about it! the other thing that kept crossing my mind was how familiar the story line was (and no I've not read it before or seen the movie). Despite my criticism I did enjoy the idea of this book and it certainly kept me interested enough to read it very quickly.

Arrived safely today - Thank you!
After the first few pages I thought oh no this is going to be a bit of a slog (it’s rare I give up on a book - fear of missing out!) but as the plot developed I got more into it despite the far fetched ness of it all! OK for a debut novel.
