Picked up at my work book exchange. A decent science fiction story. An Empress is assassinated and this sets in motion a series of events concerning her heir, who is currently imprisoned on a space fortress constructed around a strange stellar anomaly. The Prince discovers a collection of the most feared war machines in the galaxy and decides to use them to save his own life...and yeah, it doesn't go quite like he planned...
