Blurb:
Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark are still alive. Katniss should be relieved, but now there are whispers of a rebellion against the Capitol – a rebellion that Katniss and Peeta may have helped create.
As the nation watches Katniss and Peeta, the stakes are higher than ever. One false move and the consequences will be unimaginable.

Unverhofft kommt oft....
I just finished an assignment about the Hunger Games (first book) and the corresponding movie. So it's the perfect moment to continue the studies with the second book :-)
Thank you very much for the RABCK!

14.8.16:
I just love the Hunger Games trilogy! I know the story, I have read the books already, watched the movies more than once, but still: once started the book I couldn't stop reading :-) Was through in about one night and the following afternoon as in between I nevertheless needed some sleep...
Although I think the movies are well done I still prefer the books. In the movies Katniss is shown mostly from the external perspective and her internal conflicts aren't so obvious. So the inner conflict between Gale and Peeta seems to go deeper in the books, it also shows how she even hates to think about it because in the world she lives she doesn't think it is the most urgent problem to bother about boys...
Also it is much more convincing to learn about the Capitol, President Snow and the mechanisms of his tyranny step by step alongside Katniss. She doesn't understand so much from the beginning but starts to see through the games played and the role attributed to her.
I could continue forever...
As I think this are very important books to discuss power and politics with young people I will reunite the trilogy and send it back to the starter... :-D
