I found this good-condition hardcover at Traveler Food and Books in Union, CT. It's a collection of Holmes-and-holiday-themed short stories by a variety of authors, and looks rather fun! Among my favorites:

"The Christmas Gift" by Anne Perry, which involves a stolen Stradivarius, an overbearing father, and young lovers - and a very fine gift for Holmes, in the end.

Barbara Paul's "Eleemosynary, My Dear Watson" has Holmes and Watson dealing with a crime ring that involves a band of carolers.

"The Case of the Raja's Emerald" by Carolyn Wheat folds several famous fictional characters into the world of Holmes and Watson, starting with their new client - a middle-aged barrister named Timothy Cratchitt, who is having trouble identifying the correct claimant to the estate of his late friend and mentor Ebenezer Scrooge. This one takes some delightful turns, and has more "spot the next imported character" fun as well. [This one includes a direct reference to "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle", a Christmas story from the Holmes canon.]

Daniel Stashower, whose Teller of Tales is an excellent biography of Arthur Conan Doyle, contributed the story "The Adventure of the Second Violet," in which the heroine of "The Adventure of the Copper Beeches" appears to be in peril yet again. This one has a delightful nod to another author, whose name I won't give as it rather spoils the ending of the story - but I was delighted when I worked out what was going on before Holmes revealed it to Watson!
