I got this good-condition hardcover at a local Goodwill shop. (The book's been inscribed by illustrator Lita Judge, with a cute little sketch of a dinosaur.] I like alphabet books and dinosaurs, so this was a dandy combination! It covers "A is for Anning", giving credit to young Mary Anning who found fossils in the Dover cliffs in the early 1800s, to "Z is for Zuniceratops" - another fossil discovered by a child, in 1996 New Mexico. In between, some of the letters are represented by more general terms - "S is for Sky", for example - than by specific species of dinosaurs, but each page includes lavish illustrations and lots of info about various species and their habitats and behaviors.
