This is the 3rd book in the Maze Runner series. Thomas has made it through the maze and the scorch but it's not over just yet! This book focuses on trust throughout, can Thomas ever trust Wicked ever again!? Is Wicked good?! Lots of action, lots of twists and turns and lots more cranks to avoid!! Relationships develop, Thomas gets a bit more memory back but can he trust them?! I've seen some very negative reviews on this book but I have to say I rather liked it...it had me turning pages!! Rather looking forward to book 4 - I do hope it is also action packed :0)

I hate not finishing a book, I really do but I just can't bring myself to read another 200 pages of this endlessly frustrating mystery, I don't like any of the characters and I have a feeling the pay off just won't be worth it.

I have to say I did push through and finish this but it was an effort! I jut found the characters and their motivations to be less and less convincing as the series went on. I found the relentless misery of the world falling apart got very wearing because I wasn't really rooting for any of the characters and WICKED just seemed like pantomime villains. An interesting idea but really needed much more work before publishing in my opinion.
