I got this fair-condition softcover at a local Goodwill store; looks perfect for a Halloween-season release. I've enjoyed other Goosebumps books, especially the choose-your-own-scare ones, and they often manage to creep me out even though they're aimed at younger readers.

This one features a group of friends/schoolmates who are attempting to outdo each other in scary practical jokes. (Some of these are very, very nasty - a home-invasion? Really?) The main characters always get the worst of it, and seem unable to either let it go or figure out a way to fool their rivals - until their friends the twins have an idea... and things get very, very weird!

I plan to leave this book on a bench somewhere in the square at around 2:30 or 3; hope the finder enjoys it!
