I enjoy Kate Atkinson's books very much; they are always filled with quirky, interesting characters and page-turning stories. This is one of her books featuring Jackson Brodie, whose adventures I always find worth reading about, and he has some fascinating company along the way this time.

I found this book in Bruce Mackey park. I'm a sucker for a good mystery. It was the staycation I needed - devoured it in 10 hours. The beginning was slow but enticing and I was glad for the detail when the story was winding up to its satisfying conclusion. Thank you geishabird for introducing me to a new author :)
