What a pleasant surprise! This book is an exciting and quaint little spy story. I had never heard of the Mrs Pollifax series before, but I will definitely keep my eyes open for the other books now.

Mixed reviews. I really did not like the beginning but then it picked up greatly for a while until it slumped again.
And the novel is back with me again.
