8 out of 10

This is a quick read, an interesting look at how humans would react to life on an alien ship. It's thought-provoking and touches on issues of gender, race, and what it means to be human, like all of Butler's works. I hope whoever finds it gives it a try even if they don't already like sci-fi or speculative fiction. This is my first registered book!

This book was left in my husband's office and he brought it home for me to read. It was intriguing to begin with, I really enjoy sci-fi, but it got pretty bizarre too. The whole alien s*x thing just really spoiled the book for me. The whole bookcrossing thing was interesting though!
