Journal Entry 1 by Bluemchenblatt from Courbevoie, Ile-de-France France on Sunday, September 13, 2015
Registered in Paris, France, although I think I did get this book unregistered from another German Bookcrosser a couple of years ago. The book is a collection of commented photographs preceeded by an introduction to the different Britosh regions.
Somehow I've never before come around to reading it and looking at the photographs.
Since this book has been first published in 1964 and reprinted in 1967 and 1969, one can very well see the enormous that has since been achieved in quality of photographies and their printing. Nevertheless it has been a nice and rapid read. Some pictures are of interesting or beautiful places, while the choice of others has rather surprised me.
All in all, it has procured me a little traveling in time and location.

Passing on to R.
Interesting book with good description, it gives you a few idea of places to be visited in Great Britain (I didn't went yet to the places described in the book). In any case, I'll need to update these information with a more updated guide before going there, as the book is from the 60's!
