The last of Larsson's trilogy. Excellent. Salander has been injured, and is in the hospital while all the forces that are ranged against her have free range to construct a legal case against her. Only her few friends outside can help, and they are starting to realize the depths of the alliances made to silence Salander's voice.

This series was amazing. The first book was the deletorious effect on a society from unbridled wealth, the second dealt with apathy and the sex trade, and this final denouement deals with politics. Interesting that Larsson felt that only a frre press could safeguard democracy, but even that isn't enough, unless you have unfettered geniuses running around ignoring stupid (to them) restricitions. Fairly bleak assessment of the world, but I can't say the man was wrong.
