Junge Liebe, verfluchtes Glück: Tommy Flood liebt seine neue Freundin, aber jody ist ein Vampir und hat ihn in einen Gefährten der Nacht verwandelt. Unsterblichkeit ist zwar cool und der Sex ist auch nicht schlecht, doch der unstillbare Hunger nach Blut ist Tommy lästig. Udn dann ist da noch Elijah, ein Vampir des alten Geschlechts, der Jody durch einen Biss in den Hals erst in einen Vampir verwandelt hat, kommt zurück und möchte seine alte Liebe um jeden Preis zurück...

Das Buch ist witzig, abwechslungsreich und weist einige Überraschungsmomente auf. Romantic Vampire ist nicht mein Genre, auch als gut gemachte Parodie nicht, aber alle Mal eine Versuch wert.
