Because of virus or something, a disease has killed all the men in the world except for two. One of them, Yorick Brown, and his pet male monkey will travel the world to return to only a girl - Beth. The Communists want to catch him and another lady with a mysterious name she hates - she usually goes for 355 - , a warrior who kicks ass will protect him until they find Girlfriend Beth. [There is another character also called Beth, so it was a bit confusing for me. Probable people who have read the rest of the graphic novels will already know.]

I liked the concept, although without having read the previous, sometimes it was a little confusing. It's a pity I haven't read the first 9 books in the series. Well, at least this way I know how it ends....

Diomedes picked this up because he has read the series and thought I would enjoy it. He was right! Ok so it is a bit disorienting to read the last in the series, but not totally, and it is a thoroughly enjoyable tale, with a wonderful main character. (I'm talking about Ampersand of course!)
