Journal Entry 1 by MapheadMike from Norfolk, Virginia USA on Sunday, July 19, 2015

This is one of a stack of books grabbed (literally) at a church yard sale in Suffolk, VA. I pulled into the parking and started to browse a couple of minutes before the posted closing time of the event. At the posted time, the pastor yelled out that we could grab stuff for free, else whatever remained was going to Goodwill. I'd have grabbed even more than I did, except I took a minute to confirm that I had heard correctly, and I still had to mind my nieces who were more interested in rampaging the toy and game section than the book section. I did donate the spending limit I set before getting out of the car, but still made out like a bandit.

This book is going back into the world unread by me.

To the finder,
Thank you for taking this book. I hope you enjoy as much or more than I did. Please consider taking a moment to log you find online, either anonymously, or with an account here at bookcrossing.com.

We found this book at a geocache at Kiptopeke State Park in Virginia, USA. It was a beautiful, sunny December day and we were hiking a trail to the beach. I hope to leave the book far away....let the adventure continue!

After finding the book at Kiptopeke in December, I decided to read it before passing it along. It is a cute murder mystery with a quirky female "detective." It was reminiscent of Stephanie Plum and her escapades. Not an award winner, but a light read.
I released the book at Seattle-Tacoma airport on January 12, 2016. I left it on a table at the food court. I hope an ambitious custodian did not throw it away.
