Selected Canterbury Tales in original language. This book is a wonderful introduction to the Canterbury Tales, easy to read and the notes help to understand some of the references that would have been well-known at that time. The tales provided help develop an interest in reading the rest of the tales. I have another copy translated to modern English which lose some of the charm but are easier to read.
