Really enjoying the Lakeland mysteries especially given their setting of my home county of Cumbria.

Sending to cross-patch for Wishlist Tag.

Thank you lots for this book. I also have a relationship with this area and we were only recently up there for my son's wedding. I enjoyed the first in this series very recently and am definitely looking forward to reading another.

I enjoyed the setting in the Lake District (we only live 1 1/2 hours away and like to visit off season when the tourists are away, lol). The characters of Daniel and Hannah are real real and human so I enjoy their interaction - there is clearly more to come so I'll have to watch out for more books in this series. The crime story itself did not really grab me per se and I thought the end was quite rushed and not quite convincible but I like the detective's approach of how they got there.
