Pulitzer prize winner. Sweet story. Misfit of a man, raised in bad conditions, moves to Newfoundland from Upstate New York. He is returning to his family's own land, and once there slowly pieces together a happy life for himself and his daughters. Odd thing was it is also a gentle exposure of how his upbringing scarred him; mostly because of the hints we recieve of how his parents were raised on this bleak Canadian provice.
