Book 3 in the Matched Series. The three main characters are each in a different location, undercover as part of The Rising and waiting for things to come to a head. There's a virus outbreak, then a mutation of the virus, and suddenly Cassia, Ky, & Xander are involved in trying to discover a cure.

This was better than book two. I felt like there was actually some progression to the plot, but a bit unbelievable and farfetched at times, as well as being somewhat disjointed. The ending was a little too sappy and cliche'd, and there were some aspects of the plot that weren't hashed out very well. I stuck with this series because I had all three on audiobook, but overall it was just lukewarm for me.
